Dr. Garcia Boss was born and raised in Camaguey, Cuba. In 1999, he graduated with honors and received his Dental Degree from The Medical University of Camaguey, Cuba. Upon graduation, Dr. Garcia worked for three years in the social service before he was called back to his former dental school to teach in the departments of Dental Operatory and Oral Surgery. In 2004 along with many other colleagues, he was sent by the Cuban Government to work in Venezuela as a General Dentist. He was working in Caracas, Venezuela until 2007, when due to political reasons, he decided to emigrate to the USA.
In 2012, Dr. Garcia was accepted at the International Program at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in NJ and graduated in 2014. He practiced In Jersey City, NJ for one year before he moved with his family to Sarasota Florida. From 2016 to early 2019 he worked in Bradenton FL. In May 2019 Dr. Garcia joined the team at Gulf Cove Dental.
Dr. Garcia is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the West Coast District Dental Association. He has completed more than 200 hours of continued education to keep up with the latest advancements in the dental industry and provides his patients with the highest quality of dental care.
Dr. Garcia has been married to his wife Odalys for ten years and they have two beautiful daughters, Alejandra and Sophia. They enjoy being outdoors, traveling and sharing good times with family and friends.

Definitely Netflix series. I can spend hours watching documentaries or any kind of Netflix series.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why? Or, of the places you’ve traveled what was your favorite and why?
My family loves traveling and experiencing new places. My wife and I recently came back from a cruise in Australia. It was our initiation to Jazz music with Dave Koz, a great musician and host and we can’t describe how wonderful it was. Our next destination will be Spain to visit friends and learn a little bit more about their culture and traditions.
What is it about dentistry that you love?
I love to see my patients satisfied with the passion and effort I put in to maintaining their Oral health and keep them smiling.
